Grilled Squash

This recipe would be prefect for an outdoor grill, but since it’s almost December, I’ll just stick to my grill pan. You don’t have to add much to squash for it to be delicious. For me, just olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place on a hot grill pan and cook a couple minutes per side. Here is a tip: Once you place the squash on the grill, or anything for that matter, don’t move it until you are ready to flip. Also, only flip once. This will help you achieve marvelous grill marks and prevent your food from sticking. When the squash is done on side one it will easily lift from the grill. This can be true for almost anything you grill.

If you are feeling adventurous, think of the squash as a blank canvas. Many herbs and spices go incredibly well with squash. Try rosemary, thyme, basil, or even cumin seeds. The options are endless.

And heres a picture to brighten your day! Cat pictures always get me.

Watch out, she will cut you.

Have a happy Sunday!
