This past weekend I finished up this seasons garden. In early March I planted seeds inside to start growing. I did this for most of whats here, expect for some herbs and my tomato plants. I bought 7 tomato plants in all! I'm already planning all the tomato recipes I will be making! One interesting plant my mom got is for white tomatoes. Never heard of them, but excited for them to grow!
I'm still amazed by my rosemary and parsley. Two summers ago when I started this gardening thing I bought one small rosemary plant. It had like two stems. When winter came and it was still going strong I just left it there and figured if it died I would buy another one next spring. No, she lived and even made it through a couple big winter storms. She's a champ and kinda grew out of control so I did a little trimming. Since this past winter was so warm my parsley never died and when I was ready to plant this year it was taking up two thirds of my entire garden. So that too got a serious trim.
All I need is sun, and lots of it!
